Data we process and why
General contact enquiries: name, email, telephone or WhatsApp, preferred language, enquiry type and message, in order to respond to your request. Property enquiries, viewing requests and documentation requests: the above together with the property reference and the page URL you wrote from. Investment, architecture and financing enquiries: the above together with the project or transaction information you choose to provide (location, stage, indicative budget, resident or non-resident status). Favourites and price-drop alerts: an anonymous identifier generated in your browser and, if you subscribe to alerts, your email address and preferred language. Administrator or agent accounts: email address and authentication data required to access the private dashboard. Property view statistics: aggregated view counts only, with no individual profiling.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b) for enquiries, viewings and documentation requests. Consent (Art. 6.1.a) for price alerts, optional marketing messages and non-essential cookies. Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) for site security and aggregated usage measurement. Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c) where Spanish tax or commercial law applies.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for a maximum of 24 months thereafter, unless a longer statutory retention period applies. Price-alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Administrator account data is kept while the account remains active.
Recipients and processors
Data is hosted and processed on the site infrastructure (database, authentication and image storage) and by the service used to deliver transactional email such as enquiry notifications and price alerts. These providers act as processors under GDPR Art. 28. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes. Where a transaction requires it, data may need to be shared with independent legal, technical or financial professionals, always with your knowledge.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise them, write to lapalmaexklusive@outlook.com stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
Withdrawing consent
Marketing messages and price alerts always include an unsubscribe link. Non-essential cookies can be disabled at any time from the cookie policy page.
